okey dokey

　授業（オーストラリアでの）受けているときに、頻繁に先生がokey dokeyを頻繁に使っていたことを覚えています。例えば、Does anyone have any questions? .... 　okey dokey. Let's move to next topic.　最初は、O.K.と同じ意味だと知らず、意味の分からないまま流していました。そして後から、寮の友達に意味を教えてもらいました。

Appeared first in around 1930.

Famously used in the movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, which interestingly corresponds to that time era, by Short Round, the Vietnamese kid with the hat, who also starred in the Goonies.

　どうやら、okey dokeyに相当する他のフレーズは、okey, sure, alright, sure thingなどです。そして、１９３０年あたりから、使われるようになってきた。ほとんど同時期に作られた映画でも使われており、メディアを通して急速に広まったと思われる。言葉はどんどん進化するんですね。
