あまりにも友達がfair enoughを使っていたので、仕舞いには、俺の口癖になっていた。それほど、このフレーズは、日頃から使う頻度が高かった。でも、最初に聞いたときは、fair「公平」とenough「十分」が頭に浮かんでまったく意味が理解できなかった。しかし、ネイティブの使い方を観察しているうちに、意味がわかってきた。

What you say when you initially disagreed with another's opinion or behavior, but after hearing their explanation can now see their point of view.

広い意味でfair enoughを使っていると、ただ単に納得したときに使える。要するに、もとから納得していても、していなくても使える。
A:「どうして、今日は仕事にいかないの？」
B:「ちょっと、体調がよくないから」
A:「そうなんだ（なるほどね）fair enough」
