The origin of Mac
The origin of Macintosh (official name of Mac) is the variety of apple that is called 'Mcintosh' becasue the developer of Mac, Jef Raskin, liked apples. There is not 'a' between 'M' and 'C' in the spelling of 'Mcintosh', but they already had audio products that have the same name. That is why they added 'a' between 'M' and 'C' and named it 'Macintosh'.
