前置詞the（name of place)の使い方！

1. Places(continents, countries, states, islands, towns etc)

2. Sea, river etc

3.Places in towns (streets, buildings etc)

普通、国の名前にはtheはつかないが、共和国, states, kingdom にはthe がつきます！

the Czech Republic(共和国)

the United States of America(the USA)

the United Kingdom(the UK)

2. Sea, river etc

世界的に有名な海や川にはtheがつきます！(マイナーなものにはtheはつかない）

the Atlantic(Ocean) the Nile(River)

the Black sea the Suez Canal

3. Places in towns(streets, squares etc )

street, squareにはtheがつかない
